on vacations
so i've since started the count down till my week in bermuda begins.... 4 days...... i'm hopin this will turn out to be the best vacation ever which so far was a week in Aruba all expensises paid...... by someone else....
anyone else have comments on their best vacation ever.... just come back from vacation can't wait till you can go on one? anyone?? anyone at all>? |

A good vacation for me is a weekend at home, playing GW, and no parents in the house
 going to college this august though, gonna be the best time of my life |

We haven't been on a 'real' vacation in years (not enough long chunks of time)...most of our vacations entail driving long distances (one or two thousand miles round trip) and camping in places designed to avoid crowds and people - although as time goes by we stay in hotels more often...
There is nothing like having a huge lake or whatever all to yourself. Hubby would like to one day get to places like Bermuda/hawaii etc. beacuse he really likes hot weather and nice beaches but I keep telling him it's nothing special and the cramped crowds/touristy environment would only annoy him. But one day we'll rent one of the private coastal houses or something, perhaps. I'd like to one day take a country-skipping trip touring castle ruins, visit Australia's outback and spend a summer in Alaska's wilderness.
